Job Function: This position is to ensure Company complies with all U.S. export regulations as set forth in the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), trains export-related personnel in the EAR, supports international sales and marketing departments and oversees international logistics.

Job Description
: Works with the U.S. Bureau of Industry and Security to have products properly classified for export purposes.  Also works with related vendors to obtain export classifications for their products.  Obtains export licenses from U.S. Bureaus of Industry and Security for sales and demonstrations exports and deems exports of technology.  Performs harmonized system classification.  Supports international sales team by researching related to international markets on duty and tax rates, standardization and export licensing issues.  Assists marketing staff with international logistics and export issues related to foreign trade shows and demos Maintains and updates Export Management System and Intranet site.  Maintains critical export file system as mandated by Export Administration Regulations.  Pre and post screening every export transaction to ensure export compliance.  Prepares export shipping documents, files Electronic Export Information (EEI) with U.S. Census Bureau, arranges international logistics, provides international freight quotes to customers and international sales, corrects any problems with U.S. or foreign customs to ensure products arrive at destination in a timely manner.  Works with Export Manager to train personnel on export controls related to company products and technology, including executive management.  Represent company as Midwest Global Trade Assn, MN Trade Office, U.S. Department of Commerce, Twin Cities Import/Export Council and U.S. Bureau of Industry and Security events.  Assists Accounts Receivable with all international letters of credit.
Qualifications: 
Excellent oral and written communication skills.  Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion.  BA with 3 yrs. related exp. or a combination of education and exp. that would enable performance of the full scope of the position.  Exp. working with ITAR, EAR, or expertise in comparable regulatory field.

Job Description: 
Leads the Corporate-wide design and implementation of Six Sigma strategy and programming by guiding the organization in addressing quality from a strategic business perspective with focus on statistical problem solving means for driving business results. Provides company with executive consulting.  Leads and develops overall Black & Green Belt training program as well as executes program by delivering to Black Belts hands-on training, mentoring and guidance in company methodologies, technical proficiency and execution. Serves as master resource to Black Belts supporting effective execution of projects. May lead individual projects to solve key urgent, high-complexity technical issues. Ensures that chosen LSS projects, including DMAIC and Design for company product quality and commercial quality, support Corporate and business strategy and meet applicable internal and external standards, policies and regulations.  Responsible for the attainment of annually established Corporate-wide LSS improvement goals such as reduction in cost of poor quality, engineering productivity enhancement, etc. Communicates status cross-functionally via publish of metrics that accurately identify current performance to key stakeholders.

Qualifications: 
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 10 years of professional work experience in a manufacturing environment. Certified Master Black Belt and experience in the implementation of Lean principles and DMAIC/DFSS preferred. Demonstrated quantitative data analysis skills.  Demonstrated project / product management skills with ability to handle multiple tasks.  Excellent communication and leadership skills and ability to interact professionally with all levels within the organization and external customers.

Monitors desired change within the organization.  Partners with managers to optimize existing compensation systems to support business needs.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business, Behavioral Science, Human Resources or Industrial Relations.  Minimum 8 years experience in a broad HR capacity, including recruitment and employment policy/program development. Demonstrated ability to work with Human Resource practitioners and various levels of management, in a wide variety of organizational settings.  Demonstrated ability to align organization systems, processes, and structures to business strategies and objectives.  Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong facilitation, analytical, and project management skills.
